I am honored that you are visiting my website to learn more about my campaign for the school member seat on the CalPERS Board of Administration.
I am a 14-year classified employee at Crafton Hills College in San Bernardino County. As a CalPERS member, I depend on my benefits to be there when I retire. I've seen firsthand what happens without a secure retirement, and that's why I'm running to protect our defined benefit pensions and health care.

Why I Fight for
Retirement Security
I was raised by a single mother and know what it means to struggle financially. But it was later in life, during the Great Recession, that I saw how easily individual retirement investments can vanish. My mother lost her job, lost her home, and her 401k was decimated to the point where she could no longer think about retirement. This is why our retirement security is so important to me. I never want to see this happen to any school employee.
